The role of Cannabis-based Products for Medicinal Use (CBPM) as prescribed by General Practitioners

This course aims to guide clinicians through the CBPM as prescribed by General Practitioners prescription process for patients suffering from pathologies treatable by CBPMs to optimise patient experience and therapeutic outcome. 

• To list the applications for cannabis-based medicines in different fields and to identify the pros and cons of CBPMs. 
• To recall appropriate treatment ratios of THC:CBD when prescribing CBPM and to recognise a suitable starting dose. 
• To create a treatment plan for an individual patient with a gastroenterological condition requiring CBPM therapy, including appropriate maintenance and follow-up.
