The role of Cannabis-based Products for Medicinal Use (CBPM) in patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) pathologies

This course aims to guide clinicians through the CBPM prescription process for patients with musculoskeletal pathologies conditions to optimise patient experience and therapeutic outcome. 

• To list the applications for cannabis-based medicines in the musculoskeletal field and to identify the pros and cons of CBPM for each application. 
• To recall appropriate treatment ratios of THC:CBD when prescribing CBPM for each musculoskeletal based application and to recognise a suitable starting dose. 
• To create a treatment plan for an individual patient with a musculoskeletal condition requiring CBPM therapy, including appropriate maintenance and follow-up.
